Bing Ads management for home builders who want a second search engine on the map

Bing Ads (Microsoft Advertising) puts your ads in front of people searching on a second search engine, a quieter place than Google where some of your buyers still type new home builder near me and custom home builder. This page explains where that platform fits a builder's mix and where it does not.

Why a builder might add Bing beside Google for a community release

A buyer comparing builders does not behave like one person on one device. Some start on Google, some on another engine, and some move between them while a spouse or parent reads over a shoulder. A builder who only buys on one search engine is simply missing the shoppers who happen to use the other.

Bing tends to be a smaller pond, so the account is smaller and easier to read. Whether it earns its place for you is something your own report answers after a few months, with tour requests on one side and ad spend on the other. We do not guess in advance, and we do not promise how it will compare with other platforms.

When a builder runs one platform, the first choice is usually Google, described on the Google Ads for builders page. Bing becomes the second platform once the first account is clean and tracking well. The overview of all three sits on the full paid ads plan page.

Three jobs Bing can do on a builder's start schedule

  • Cover builder searches in a second place

The same community, plan family and town campaigns run on Bing, with keyword lists written for how buyers phrase a search there, such as home builder near me or new construction homes near me.

  • Test a release without a big commitment

A new community in a town where you are less known can run on Bing first. Its smaller account lets you read the first results sooner.

  • Back up a Google account that sells out

When a release fills and Google ads pause, Bing can stay on for the next phase, or it can pause with them. You choose each month.

Where Bing sits next to the other platforms on a model-home push

Described in general words only, since every builder's market is different and the platforms set their own prices.

How a builder's Bing account gets set up and watched

We open the account under your company name and give you the login. Campaigns mirror your Google structure, split by community, plan family and town, so reports line up from one platform to the next. Negative keywords keep out kit homes, tiny and mobile homes, job seekers, supply stores, software and do-it-yourself plan sets, and call and form tracking are tested before anything runs.

If you already have Google campaigns, we can often import them to Bing and then rewrite them where wording should differ. Imported campaigns still get checked line by line, because ad copy that suits one engine can read oddly on the other.

Signs a builder's plan has room for a Bing line

  • A Google account already runs clean, with tracking that separates real tour requests from wrong numbers
  • More than one community or plan family needs eyes at the same time
  • A release is opening in a town where buyers do not know your name yet
  • You would rather read a second set of search results than raise one account's ad spend

If none of these fits yet, Bing can wait without hurting anything.

Questions builders ask about adding a second search engine

Does Bing replace Google for a custom builder's ads?

No. It sits beside Google, and either can be paused on its own. The plan counts platforms, so adding one moves you to the next tier on the pricing page.

Will Bing send more tours than other platforms?

We cannot say. Your own report answers that question over time, and we never promise a number of tours from any platform.

Can I try Bing for a single release and then stop?

Yes. Each month is a separate stage, and the account stays in your name after it stops.

Is Bing part of the three-platform plan?

It is one of the three, with Google and Meta, so a builder picks any one, two or all three. The Meta Ads page covers the third.

Should a second search engine join your next community release?

Tell us how your Google ads look today and we will say whether Bing deserves a line.

Which release, model or plan family needs visitors first?

Name the community, model or plan family that should draw visitors first, the towns you build in and when the next lot release opens. Rough notes are enough. Leave buyer names and personal details out, because this conversation is about marketing and never about a sale or a contract.

Tell us about the builder and the start schedule

Write a few lines about the homes you build, the towns you build in and how the start schedule looks. A person on our side reads each note, so keep buyer names and details out of it.

Ross Cohen, our CEO, will phone at whatever time you choose underneath, to talk it over.

Set up the call

After you select a time, the details of your call show here.

Calls are offered on weekdays, in the time zone selected above.

Which community, plan family or lot release should draw more tour requests this quarter?

Tell us what you build, where your lots are and how the start schedule looks. You get a reply in writing, with a price from the posted rates and the first things we would put on the calendar.

The house frame, crane and flag in these drawings are pictures only. They show nobody's work and say nothing about any builder, buyer or home.
